StartRace is a technology platform that connects sports event organizers with participants. We provide tools for event registration, payment processing, results management, and live tracking.
StartRace acts as an intermediary between organizers and participants. We are not an event organizer and do not bear responsibility for the organization, safety, or quality of events listed on the platform.
To create an organizer account, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements. Participants must meet the age requirements set by individual event organizers.
By using StartRace, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will comply with all applicable laws.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
Account access is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.
When you register for an event through StartRace, you enter into a direct agreement with the event organizer. StartRace facilitates the registration and payment process but is not a party to this agreement.
As an event organizer, you bear full responsibility for your event, including its safety, compliance with local regulations, and accuracy of published information.
Content you upload to StartRace (event descriptions, photos, logos, results) remains your intellectual property. By uploading content, you grant StartRace a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote the content in connection with the platform.
You represent that you have the right to upload any content you share and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.
The StartRace brand, logo, software, and all related intellectual property are owned by StartRace. No ownership rights are transferred to users through use of the platform.
Your use of StartRace is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
StartRace integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments) and Resend (email delivery). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. StartRace is not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
StartRace is a technology platform and is not responsible for the organization, safety, quality, or outcome of events listed on the platform. Event organizers bear full responsibility for their events.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StartRace's total liability is limited to the fees you have paid to StartRace in the 3 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
StartRace is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. EU consumer protection regulations apply where applicable.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved by the courts of competent jurisdiction in Poland.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
